And this is not the most heavily corrected page in the manuscript. And guess what– I just spotted some other changes I need to make that are not even marked on this copy. Yippee. The writing life for me.

    1. PP is my way of indicating that I should insert a paragraph break somewhere. I never got around to using the standard editing symbol for a paragraph, which looks like two P’s engaged in a carnal act. In fact I don’t use many standard symbols, but generally what I use works for me– except when I’ve written something in the margins so small and squiggly that four weeks later I can’t figure out what I meant. Sigh.
